Italy is a fantastic place! Every corner you turn, there is something that will take your breath away. We spent Christmas here, 6 nights. Christmas is celebrated in a much different way than in North America. They don’t have the level of commercialism we have. It’s more about religion and peace. I have to say I prefer it this way. We went to a Christmas Eve mass at a small Catholic church that was one of a few in English, and later that night, we went to Vatican Square for the Pope’s mass. It was not in English but a fun experience. The one thing I can say I won’t miss in Rome is trying to cross the street; man, these Italians are crazy drivers!!
