You would think if your local brewery is 227 years old, they would serve a great pint. Nita and I have found ourselves in the city of Lewes, East Sussex. Our amazing hosts Glenda and Allan, have been educating us on the history of this area steep in Canadian history. There were a lot of Canadian soldiers stationed here during World War II. This brewery would have kept them well-hydrated in the day. Many Canadian war brides came from this area.
