“The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease forever to be able to do it.” — J.M. Barrie
Nita and I took our starting flight today and landed in Toronto, it’s – 2 C here. Oddly it feels warmer than Victoria. No Rain!!
My lesson for you on day one,
When your researching TSA boarder rules online, make sure you read the Canadian TSA site. Yes, not all TSA sites are equal (really!). I followed the US site, not knowing there are multiple TSA sites and it says you can take 1 Quart of liquids, the Canadian site says 1 Litre. I showed up with a quart and found out I’m a Canadian! Unfortunately, according to the nice man in a uniform, I was over stocked with liquids. If you know me well enough you would know I’ve had that problem for a while now. Well, Nita hates embarrassing moments, especially at 5am in the morning. Needless to say, the TSA search didn’t find me in a very good spot for the flight ahead.
Have a good week everyone, I’ll touch base with next week when I find a good pub in London. Hopefully they will the the difference between a quart and a litre and travel lesson 2 is most likely to appear by then.
